Competition rules

  1. Promoter. The competition is run by Wonders of Maths Limited, Kings House, 174 Hammersmith Road, London W6 7JP.
  2. Who can enter. The competition is free to enter and open to students in Year 6 who live in the UK. Entries must be made with the permission of a parent or guardian.
  3. Dates. The challenge runs on weekdays from Monday 26 October to Friday 13 November 2026, with 15 daily sets of five multiple-choice questions.
  4. Daily deadline. Each day's set must be submitted by 9pm (UK time) on the same day. Day 1's set opens early, on Friday 23 October, and closes at 9pm on Monday 26 October. Late submissions do not count.
  5. One entry per day. Each student may submit each daily set once, using the same first name and parent or guardian email address every day. If more than one submission is received for the same student on the same day, only the first counts.
  6. Scoring. One point is awarded for each correct answer, up to 75 points in total.
  7. Qualifying. To be eligible for a prize, a student must complete at least 10 of the 15 daily sets. Only eligible students are ranked for the prizes.
  8. Winners. The 10 eligible students with the highest total scores win. Every winner receives the same prize: a Wonders of Maths branded tote bag. There is no cash alternative.
  9. Ties. If two or more students have the same total score for 10th place, all of them win, so there may be more than 10 winners.
  10. Contacting winners. We will email winners' parents or guardians, using the address provided, by Friday 20 November 2026. If we do not receive a reply within 7 days, the prize may be offered to the next highest-scoring eligible student. Prizes are posted to UK addresses only.
  11. Fair play. Answers should be the student's own work. We may exclude entries that we reasonably believe break these rules, for example one student entering under more than one name. Our decision on the results is final.
  12. Your information. We collect only what we need to run the challenge: the student's first name and a parent or guardian's email address. Answers are collected using Typeform and stored securely in Google Sheets. We use this information only to record daily completions, calculate scores and contact winners, and we delete it within three months of the winners being contacted. We will not publish winners' names without permission. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.
